How-to: Reprogram Pump Timer Run Time on 2013+ Mastercraft Boats

If you've purchased a factory ballast upgrade from us that integrates with your 2013+ Mastercraft X-Series boat, you'll need to adjust how long the factory pumps run for during filling and draining in order to ensure that both the factory tank and the auxiliary ballast bag can fill and drain completely.

To determine how much time to start with, just add the capacity of the ballast bag to the factory hard tank capacity (250lbs for the rear tanks, 400lbs for the KGB tank) and divide that number by 88. You can start there, and then once you get the boat in the water you can double check to make sure that's the correct amount of time.
