We have designed this product to be incredibly reliable, utilizing features like solid state electronics and designed for current far beyond what it will actually see. We also test every single module during production to ensure that is functions as expected.
As a result, in almost every scenario, if there appears to be an issue with a Time Module, it almost always related to the installation. Here are some common scenarios:
- Issue: Before installing the Timer Module everything works fine, once it installed, the pump doesn't turn on.
Solution: Make sure the Timer Module is installed in the correct location; it needs to be located at the end of the pump extension harness, and connected directly to the pump itself. - Issue: Timer Module was working correctly, but no longer works.
Solution: The Timer Module requires at least 12V from the boat's charging system, and if it's not getting that, it will not turn on. Ensure the battery is charged fully, or that the engine is running and the alternator is outputting at least 12V.
Hopefully those tips will help you trouble-shoot your WakeMAKERS Time Module if you're having trouble with it. Refer to the installation instructions that were delivered with the Timer Module if you have any questions, or feel free to contact a product expert with any questions you have.
