These models have four connections to the bow bag. On WakeMAKERS ExactFIT and CustomFIT ballast bags, all of these connections will be labeled:
- Two at the bottom of the locker that enter from the rear, which are the drain hoses.
- A vent/overflow connection on the top of the starboard side of the bag.
- A fill connection on the top of the port side of the bag.
Step 1: Find the two drain hoses at the rear of the locker. They are currently capped with a fitting that is secured in place with a hose clamp. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the fittings from the hoses (retain fittings in case you want to use the boat without the bow bag installed).
Step 2: Insert the supplied Straight Quick Connect fittings into the ends of the hoses where the fittings were removed and secure with the factory hose clamps.
Step 3: Locate the vent/overflow and fill hose that runs through the compartment. These two hoses are connected together with gray plastic check valve so that if the switch on the dash is turned on without the bag in place the water doesn’t fill the boat.
Step 4: Follow the vent/overflow and fill hose away from the check valve towards the bow of the boat until you come to a 1-1/8" hose coupling. Loosen the hose clamps that secure the coupling in place and remove (retain fitting in case you want to use the boat without the bow bag installed).
Step 5: Insert the supplied Elbow Quick Connect fitting into the ends of the hoses where the coupling was removed and secure with the factory hose clamps.
Step 5: Align the bag with the bow compartment and slide it in place through the forward cutout in the deck.
Step 6: Secure each of the Quick Connect fittings by pulling back on the red locking ring, seating the male fitting installed in the bag fully, and then sliding the red locking ring back down to the bag.
