Gen I (2007-2014) Mastercraft X45 Suggested Setup

The suggested configuration for this boat is weighting the boat symmetrically with a surf device to generate the surf wave.

That gives you more ballast in the boat, which increases the displacement of the hull, and makes a bigger wake or wave wave, and it's also a lot more enjoyable to drive and ride on the boat when surfing.

And for a surf device, would suggest the Ronix XL Wakesurf Shaper. Because of the contours in the hull of your boat, using a suction cup based device like the Mission DELTA just isn't an option; there's no way it will stay on the side of the boat if positioned where it needs to be to perform correctly.
