2012-2015 MB Sports Ballast Upgrade Options

As you maybe already know, these boats use a gravity based ballast system that fills and drains based on the relative water level of the boat. Since there are no pumps, there's no way to offer a ballast upgrade solution, since the water level can't be higher than basically the floor height of the boat (the waterline when the boat is sitting at rest).

As a result, your options are:

• Install a Complete Automated Ballast System - This will give you a fully automated ballast solution that fills and drains from a switch on the dash for maximum convenience, but will require some initial effort or expense to complete the installation process.
• Use a Portable Ballast Pump - There is no installation required for a portable pump, just take it out of the box and plug it in, but you give up convenience every day you use the boat compared to an integrated ballast solution.
